Sushwinder Kaur Walia
Sushwinder Kaur Walia, founder of English Mentor, brings more than 16 years of experience in English language education, examination preparation and communication training. Her journey has been driven by a simple belief: every learner can improve when they receive the right guidance, strategy and encouragement.
She has trained learners for a wide range of examinations and communication requirements, including IELTS, PTE, CELPIP, Duolingo English Test, OET, IELTS Life Skills, SELT and interview preparation. Her teaching philosophy focuses on understanding the individual learner rather than treating every student the same way — through personalised guidance, practical strategies, targeted feedback and consistent motivation.
Her experience has also shaped the culture of English Mentor — one that values quality teaching, personal attention, innovation, discipline and genuine student support. As a mentor and leader, Sushwinder continues to work towards creating an environment where students feel supported, motivated and confident throughout their learning journey.
